Video Game Win. Metal Gear Solid 4.

June 12 2008 Metal Gear Solid 4 is released. Before release a article noted that for this to work MGS4 would need to sell one million copies release day. It sold 1.6 million copies the first day. Third party exclusives are becoming more rare and some speculation as to whether MGS4 is the final big budget exclusive.
I hope not. I'm playing again after a disastrous experience with Fallout 3 over the past week. Games have odd things in them from time to time such as low frame rates, disappearing textures, you know the drill. Fallout 3 locks up in a way that forces a hard reset the machine. It's the only game I own that does this. The game is amazing and I want to finish it because the story just picked up again because Fallout 3 is classic sci-fi however you slice it.
Konami created a masterpiece with MGS4. The joy to play a piece of software designed specifically for a single piece of hardware. MGS4 is in another league of electronic entertainment. If you're like me and pissed off about the bugs in Fallout 3 and it's constant crashing. Throw this disc in again or pick it up if you don't have it and give it a go. It's perfect in nearly every way. Add the multiplayer feature Metal Gear Online and you have a great gaming package.
